Small Brush Fire Quickly Contained In Nuevo
The wildfire burned six acres before firefighters contained the small blaze.

NUEVO, CA - A wildfire charred a little more than six acres Saturday south of Nuevo before firefighters stopped the small blaze amid elevated fire weather.
The fire was reported at 1:40 p.m. in the 23600 block Gunther Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
"Quick work by air and ground resources stopped the fire," fire officials said.
