Spot Fires Burn Near Diamond Valley Boat Docks
Multiple engine crews were deployed to the location, officials said.

HEMET, CA — Several spot fires broke out Friday near the marina at Diamond Valley Lake in Hemet, consuming almost two acres before crews got them under control.
The non-injury fires were reported about 12:45 p.m. in the 2600 block of Angler Avenue, on the north end of the lake.
A Hemet Fire Department battalion chief at the scene said two to three smaller blazes had combined and blackened acreage along an unpaved maintenance road east of the marina.
