<p>Artists from all over the country will be painting out of-doors throughout San Clemente as they compete for $13,000 in awards and prizes. Four Scholarships will be awarded to deserving artists by John Dorrie and the Katherine Peas Taylor Foundation, along with the winning awards at the Collectors' Gala Evening June 21.  No studio work is allowed - all work must be painted during this week and outside in "plein air" only. A Quick Draw Competition is planned for June 14 in front of the Community Center.</p><p>The art show continues for a full week - June 14-22. The highlight of the event will be the Collectors' Gala Evening, Art Expo, sale and live auction on Saturday June 21 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM June 21 at the San Clemente Art Gallery and Community Center, with the show and sale continuing through Sunday June 22. Refreshments will be catered by Roccos's,  Carbonara's Italian Trattoria and Papa Murphy's.
