2 Injured in Lake Forest House Fire

A woman was hospitalized with burns to her hands and a firefighter was hospitalized with an ankle injury.

LAKE FOREST, CA - A fire damaged a residence in Lake Forest today and left two people injured, authorities said.

Firefighters sent to the 22200 block of Parkwood Street at 6:20 a.m. extinguished the flames in 15 minutes, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi said.

A firefighter suffered an ankle injury, and a woman living in the residence suffered hand burns, Concialdi said. Both were transported for hospital treatment.
