Accused Car Thief Arrested After Calling Tow Truck

The vehicle was a rental that hadn't been returned, authorities say.

Police arrested a man after he requested a tow for a vehicle that, police say, had been reported stolen.

Kunta Mali Satterwhite, 39, was arrested Thursday after he called a tow company because the vehicle he'd been driving had broken down, said Sgt. Angel Andrade of Lake Forest Police Services.

The vehicle was a rental that had not been returned to the rental company and had been reported stolen, Andrade said.
