Anaheim Police: Downtown Disney Unknown Object No Cause For Alarm

ANAHEIM, CA — If you were at Downtown Disney Tuesday afternoon, you may have noticed an influx of police activity around 2:30 p.m.

The Anaheim police investigated an unknown object near Downtown Disney on Tuesday, officials said.

The all-clear was given shortly thereafter, that the object was not dangerous.

"It turned out to be just discarded clothing," an Anaheim police department spokesperson said.

There were no evacuations and there was never a threat to public safety.'' According to an Anaheim Police Department tweet, they investigated the situation "out of an abundance of caution," the department said.

The all clear was given at shortly before 3 p.m.
