Back To School, Great Savings Supports the Fight Against Cancer.

Shop for a cause and save a lot of money on August 26 to August 28, 2016.

The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life Lake Forest and Macy’s have partnered for Macy’s 11th annual “Shop For A Cause.” This is a tremendous way to save money when you are shopping for back to school.

Macy’s will host the “Shop For a Cause” fundraiser all day on Friday, August 26 to Sunday, August 28, 2016 at any Macy’s. Macy’s has provided Relay For Life Lake Forest with shopping passes for a $5 donation each.

The American Cancer Society will keep 100 percent of the proceeds for every shopping pass that it sells.

Customers are invited to participate by purchasing shopping passes from Lake Forest Relayers. The Macy’s pass offers a substantial discount.

By purchasing a shopping pass, customers support the fight against cancer and they can enjoy huge discounts at Macy’s stores all weekend from Friday, Aug. 26 through Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016.

Shoppers will save 25% all weekend on regular, sale and clearance items, including home items. In addition, they will save 10% on electric/electronics, floor coverings, furniture, mattresses, rugs and watches. With each pass that is completed, you have an opportunity to win a $500 Macy’s gift card.

This is a wonderful opportunity to save for back to school and holiday shopping. Don’t wait because there is a limited number of passes. It doesn’t get any better than this.

“At Macy’s, we believe in supporting the communities where our customers and associates live and work,” said Holly Thomas, Macy’s vice-president of cause marketing. “That is why we are so proud of Shop For A Cause which has helped raise tens of millions of dollars for charitable organizations since 2006.”
