Soroptimist’s is an international organization of women who work to improve the lives of women and girls in their local community and throughout the world. Soroptimist International of Saddleback Valley will have their annual fundraiser “Bras 4 A Cause” on March 28 at the Norman P. Murray Community Center. Each year bras are created and judged based upon a theme. For 2015 the theme is “Anything Western.” Money earned will fund their cash awards; Violet Richardson Award which is given to a girl in recognition of her volunteer efforts, Live Your Dream Award is given to several women in need of assistance with furthering their education or job skills, the Smart Girls Program which teaches young girls about health, fitness and positive self-image and Soroptimist Stop Trafficking Program.
Gala tickets are $45 each. This year the grand opportunity prize is fifty-two $25 restaurant gift cards (valued at $1300). Dine out once a week for a year! Raffle tickets are priced at $10 each.
