Cat Stuck In Parking Garage Vent Rescued In Irvine
Orange County firefighters were hard at work rescuing a family's cat who found itself trapped in a parking garage vent this week.

IRVINE, CA — For Orange County firefighters, there's no task too big or too small (or too furry).
Orange County firefighters rescued a cat who was trapped inside of an exhaust vent in a parking structure in Irvine.
According to firefighters, the cat had been trapped for almost ten hours.

Firefighters and Irvine Police Animal Services worked together to cut away a section of the metal grate, using hand tools rather than power tools to avoid frightening the cat.
The feline was ultimately rescued from the grate and returned safely to her family.
