MONDAY NOV 10 - DEC 10

In May the City adopted the Marine 1st Law Enforcement Battalion and beginning today all around the City there are collection points to donate to help military families. Items like canned foods, toys, and books are particularly desired. For more info contact lfusmccommittee@gmail.com

TUESDAY, NOV 11

El Toro Memorial Park presents the 26th annual Veteran’s Day ceremony at 11 am at El Toro Memorial Park (25751 Trabuco Rd). For more info call 949 951 8244.

Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce has their monthly mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 at Slaters 50/50 (24356 Swartz Drive). For more info contact Margie.Matsil@gmail.com

Soroptimists International of Lake Forest presents a hands-on experience to make No-Sew Fleece Blankets for the needy. Starts at 6 pm at the Lake 1 Clubhouse. For more info call Marion Duffy at 949 683 7874 (BTW – this is a great group of people who do worthwhile charity work, so if you’re looking for a volunteer opportunity you might want to check them out)

SATURDAY NOV 15

“Save Portola Hills” group is having an event in Portola Hills. Check out their Facebook page for more information. Save Portola Hills is a grass roots movement working to preserve the quality of life in their area of the City.

MONDAY NOV 17

Lake Forest Parade Committee meets at the new Sports Park Recreation Center (28000 Rancho Pkwy). Meeting starts at 6 pm in Room #1. This is a great group and a chance to be part of the July 4th Parade.
