Coroner IDs Body Found Inside Moving Truck As Missing OC Woman
An Orange County woman went missing in November. Her body was identified by authorities Friday.

ANAHEIM, CA ā A body found wrapped in plastic and cardboard in an abandoned moving truck in Fullerton on Wednesday was that of a 27-year-old Anaheim woman, police announced Friday. The cause of Ashley Manning's death is pending the results of toxicology results, which could take several weeks to complete, authorities said.
The U-Haul truck containing the body was rented in Anaheim, so police in that city took over the investigation, according to Anaheim police Sgt. Shane Carringer.
Manning, 27, was reported missing on November 13 when she boarded a plane from Dallas Fort Worth to Los Angeles Airport, the Missing Persons Network says.

Abandoned or delinquent trucks are normally taken to the company's Fullerton location at Orangethorpe Avenue and State College Boulevard so employees can inventory the belongings, Carringer said.
The employees searching the truck came across the body and called Fullerton police about 1 p.m. Wednesday, the sergeant said.

Investigators have deemed it a suspicious death at this point, Carringer said. "Whether or not it is a homicide is still to be determined," he said.
