Design for Tamarisk Park Renovation to Be Debated by Commission Thursday

Tamarisk and Rimgate parks are the latest city parks to enter the design phase for updated construction. Conceptual plans for the overhauls were drawn up by RHA Landscape Architects following .

In March, the commission approved a conceptual plan for Rimgate Park. For Tamarisk, though, commissioners requested revisions to the proposed plans. At Thursday's meeting, RHA Landscape Architects will present two slightly different plans. Both place the planned baseball field in the "back" of the park, farthest away from residences, as members of the public requested.
