Disneyland Hotel Guests Shelter In Place During Chlorine Leak
A morning chlorine leak outside the Disneyland Hotel sent one to the hospital. Here's what we know.

DISNEYLAND, CA — Guests of the Disneyland Hotel Frontier Tower sheltered in place on Friday morning, when a chlorine leak near the pool sent one person to the hospital according to officials.
A leak was reported to officials at approximately 8 a.m. Friday morning, a Disneyland spokesperson said. Hazardous Materials teams from Orange County Fire Authority assisted Anaheim and Garden Grove Fire Department in answering the call, and numerous emergency vehicles responded to the scene as reported by guests of the hotel.
NBC4LA reported that an employee was transported to the hospital due to breathing difficulty, however there is no word as to the employee's condition or if they were admitted at the time of this report.

A severed chlorine line to the pool was the source of the leak.
"Shortly after 8 am a worker hit a chlorine line on the lawn next to the pool at the Disneyland Hotel," a Disneyland spokesperson said. "As a precaution, guests were asked to stay in their rooms while it was contained and cleaned up. Business resumed at 10:15 am."

As of 12:15 p.m. both the Disneyland Resort pool and Goofy's Kitchen remained closed, however they expect both to reopen soon, the resort spokesperson stated.
