Do You Recognize This Intruder? UCI Police Are Hunting for Him

IRVINE, CA - UC Irvine police today asked for the public's help identifying a man who exposed himself to a student.

Just before 10 p.m. Wednesday, the student told campus police that a man had broken through a locked screen door of the student's residence, UCI officials reported.

The student heard the intruder in the living room, and then moments later he exposed himself to the student in the resident's bedroom, officials said. The student chased the suspect out of the apartment.

The suspect is an Asian man in his 20s who has black hair and is about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He was clean-shaven and was wearing a royal blue, long-sleeved shirt and dark long pants.

A photograph of the intruder was taken by the student, which the university released to the public.
