El Toro Stabbing Not Random Act Of Violence: OCSD
The Lake Forest stabbing victim is expected to recover according to OCSD. The investigation continues.

LAKE FOREST, CA — There is still no word on who stabbed a Lake Forest man last friday at an El Toro apartment complex.
The Jan. 27 early morning stabbing occurred on the 20700 block of El Toro Road and was determined to be an isolated occurrence, Orange County Sheriff's Department Chief of Police Services, Lake Forest.
"Deputies responded to the call, in reference to a stabbing," OCSD Lt. Brad Valentine said in a recent release. "Upon arrival, they discovered that a man had been stabbed multiple times."

The victim was transported to Mission Hospital, where he was expected to recover from his injuries.
Sheriff's Investigators and Sheriff's Identification (Forensics) responded to the scene for the investigation in the stabbing, Valentine said.

"At this time the investigation is on-going. Based upon evidence collected from the scene, the Lake Forest Police Services have determined this was an isolated incident and not a random act of violence," Valentine said.
Lake Forest Police Services believes that there is no immediate threat to the community at this time, according to Valentine's statement.
