LAKE FOREST, CA — A Lake Forest teenager sustained fatal injuries Monday after crashing his motorcycle on Jeronimo Road, just north of El Toro Road at approximately 12:15 p.m., according to Orange County Coroner's Office reports.
The 17-year-old Lake Forest resident, Tynan Blackledge, was driving a high performance motorcycle on Jeronimo Road when he lost control for unknown reasons, colliding into a fixed object, the coroner stated.

A GoFundMe page set up for the family stated that he struck a curb, then a pole. The Orange County Fire Authority pronounced Tynan deceased on scene, said a family friend, Sara Curtis-Penner.
"Shortly after the collision, Tynan's mother was driving southbound on Jeronimo and immediately noticed the motorcycle and her son on the ground," Penner said on the page. "Volunteers from the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) were requested and responded to the scene."
