Fatal Motorcycle Crash In Lake Forest On Rimhurst
A motorcycle crash in Lake Forest claims the life of a Rancho Santa Margarita 18-year-old.

LAKE FOREST, CA —A fatal collision occurred Monday night between a vehicle and motorcycle in Lake Forest according to Orange County Sheriff's Department Lt. Lane Lagaret. The crash was reported at just after 8:30 p.m.
The motorcyclist, 18-year-old David LaDue of Rancho Santa Margarita, was pronounced dead at the scene at just before 8:45 p.m., according to Orange County Coroner's office.
"The motorcyclist impacted a medium sized sedan at the intersection," Orange County Fire Authority Captain Larry Kurtz said. "Upon arrival, OCFA declared the motorcycle rider deceased on scene."

A family, including a 3-year-old child, was inside vehicle when it collided with the motorcycle according to Kurtz.
"A 2016 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling northbound on Trabuco Road when it collided with a 2015 Hyundai at the intersection near Trabuco Road and Rimhurst Drive in Lake Forest," Lagaret said.

The 3-year-old was transported as trauma patient to an area hospital. There is no update available as to her condition, according to Kurtz.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
