"Gang" Supporter Assaults Petition Gatherer

At about 5:30 pm a supporter of the Gang of 3 violently assaulted a young woman who was seeking signatures for the recall outside Stater Brothers in Lake Forest. According to witnesses, the woman was knocked to the ground and then the assault continued until stopped by another signature gatherer.

Police responded quickly, ultimately releasing all three people involved.

This incident is only the latest in a series of increasingly violent incidents involving supporters of the Gang of 3. Earlier this week a woman reported at the City Council meeting being threatened online by one of the Gang’s supporters. And for weeks, recall supporters have been complaining about harassment and intimidation, coming from the supporters as well as Mayor Hamilton himself.
