Last week the Lake Forest Garden Club held their annual pre-Mother's Day plant sale in the parking lot of Lake 1. The volunteers were out in force, selling plants, giving advice, and doing crafts with children. Hundreds of people came by and the club earned thousands of dollars, which will fund their future activities. This pre-Mother's Day sale is an annual event.
