Early Morning Lake Forest Area Garage Fire Displaces Resident
Orange County Fire Authority aggressively attacked the garage fire of a residence on the 10 block of Bunker Hill.

LAKE FOREST, CA — A garage fire that started early Friday morning displaced one resident from an Irvine home according to Orange County Fire Authority.
The call came in after 2:30 a.m. to a residence located at the 10 block of Bunker Hill Road. Firefighters from OCFA arrived on the scene at approximately 2:45 a.m. The fire was extinguished nearly 15 minutes later.
The garage of a residence, near the intersection of Bunker Hill and Revere, was the source of the fire, though there is no word as to the specific cause.

"OCFA knocked down the fire within 15 minutes," OCFA Capt. Larry Kurtz said. "The fire extended to the attic space of the home."

The home's sole occupant was not home at the time of the fire, Kurtz said. The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
