This statewide campaign aims to raise the importance of CACM’s California-specific Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®) designation and build awareness among homeowners about the valuable role community association managers have in overseeing the more than 50,000 common interest developments (CIDs) or HOAs in California.

“More than 14.3 million people, about 38 percent of the state’s population, live in an HOA-managed community, many of which are run by professionally trained community association managers,” said CACM’s newly appointed President and CEO David Zepponi. “Through our rigorous California-specific curriculum, our CCAM members have developed a high level of professional expertise, which is critical to the communities they serve. And, the learning doesn’t stop when they earn their CCAM. Our members must continue to enhance their expertise to keep their certification. At the heart of the Community Champions campaign are testimonials and stories of exemplary community association managers from across the state.
