Despite the fact that it was a Tuesday morning, more than 100 people showed up with their dogs to celebrate Lake Forest’s first dog park. There was plenty of room in the small (3400 sf) dog park, and even the large (5400 sf) dog park had room for dogs to run and play.
The specially designed artificial turf looked great. Only time will tell whether or not it works.
Parking was a problem for the opening day, but going forward, it isn’t expected to be a problem. If the Baffin Bay parking lot fills up, people can always use Monarch which can be assessed from Alton.
