Lake Forest Councilman Adam (Afshin) Nick’s ABC License/FTB Suspensions keep campaign in downward spiral-can he ever recover?
With evidence of bribery, corruption, lies, racist & violent remarks, Adam Nick now must answer to unscrupulous/dishonest business practices
Alcohol License Suspended
Adam Nick’s gas station, the Grab-N-Go located on Lake Forest Road, recently was forced to suspend sales of alcohol for 5 days due to breaking the law, according to the California “Alcohol Beverage Control” (“ABC”) website and calls to their office. Most ABC offenses can be easily remedied, but having to suspend sales due to dishonest business practices is uncommon. Here is the link with details from the ABC website:

Business Suspension for “failure to file a return, pay taxes, penalties, interest”
Also, it was noted that Adam (Afshin) Nick also registered a new business after his 2012 election. Per the California Secretary of State website, Adam (Afshin) Nick filed to incorporate American Energy Strategies on March 26, 2013. Sometime thereafter, the California version of the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board (FTB), “suspended” his business for the following reason:

“The business entity was suspended or forfeited by the Franchise Tax Board for failure to meet tax requirements (e.g., failure to file a return, pay taxes, penalties, interest).” Here is the link to the saved image of business information on the Secretary of State's website:

Summary
How slimy does Adam (Afshin) Nick get? How do Councilman James Gardner and candidate Leah Basile continue to support him? If I were them, I would not want to associate with Adam Nick in any way. But I keep seeing fliers with both Adam Nick and Leah Basile together . . .
Simple internet searches show the unethical and law-breaking nature of his businesses. Why would we ever re-elect Adam Nick?
Voters in Lake Forest deserve WAY better!
