FOUND: Lake Forest Girl Reunited With Family

LAKE FOREST, CA —Officials in Lake Forest searched for a lost girl who was reported missing on Thursday at just before 6 p.m.

According to the OCSD, she was found at 7:30 p.m. and safely reunited with her family.

Deputies actively searched for the missing 12-year-old for over an hour. She was last seen riding her bike in the area of Ridgeline Way and Shadow Oak.

The OCSD helicopter circled the area above, searching from the air while OCSD cars are out in the surrounding area. The neighborhood is flanked with greenbelts and paths.

"She was last seen wearing a white helmet, turquoise shirt, blue leggings, and riding a white mountain bike," police say.

Police services were not staging for a search as of this report, though they did ask neighbors to keep an eye out for her. If you see her, call 911, they said.
