Lake Forest Stabbing Sends Man To Hospital: OCFA
A Friday morning stabbing at the Pheasant Creek apartment complex left one man injured, according to fire officials.

LAKE FOREST, CA — A stabbing Friday at a Lake Forest apartment complex left one man injured and a suspect at large, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The stabbing occurred at just after 4 a.m. Friday morning at the Pheasant Creek Apartments on the 20700 block of El Toro Road.
"A 40-year-old male was assaulted by another and transported by OCFA to area hospital," Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Larry Kurtz said.

Orange County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene at just before 5 a.m. according to Lt. Mark Stichter.
"Deputies contacted a male victim who had been stabbed in the upper torso area," Stichter said. "There is no suspect information at this time."

A tweet from ABC7 reporter Greg Lee stated that the victim suffered multiple stab wounds by a suspect still at large, though officials have not yet been reached to confirm that.

Orange County Sheriff's Department deputies are investigating the incident.
