The Marines of the 1st Law Enforcement Battalion are a great asset to the City. They participate in many of our events, including the Special Needs dance (see photos) where they are a big hit. They put on a great show at the 4th of July Parade, not only participating in the parade but also demonstrating the canine unit's abilities. It's been a great partnership.
The Lake Forest USMC Support Committee and the Marines of the 1st Law Enforcement Battalion would like to thank those who live or work in Lake Forest for their support during the past year. GREATLY APPRECIATED!
As we move into the New Year, our Restaurant of the Month fundraising program kicks off again. On January 30, 2017 and January 31, 2017, it’s “Back to Biagio’s.” Located at 24301 Muirlands Blvd., this local “landmark” has been serving great Italian food for over 40 years! On these dates, Biagio’s will contribute 15% of the food proceeds from those patrons who bring in the promotional flyer to the Support Committee. Flyers are available – see the accompanying attachment - or can be downloaded from the Support Committee website - http://lfusmccommittee.org/default.shtml.

In addition, we are conducting an additional initiative for which we are seeking donations:
“1st Quarter Barracks Bash” – for 150+ Marines coming off a significant training exercise in February, the Support Committee will “treat” them to a catered “pasta dinner” as opposed to the usual “chow hall” fare. This event will take place on February 23, 2017.
