New Business Seminar

New business seminar is a success

Last night the City and the Chamber of Commerce held the “New Business” seminar and 25 businesses came by to see what the City and our associates (e.g., SCORE, SBA, One-Stop Center) have to offer. Among the businesses were Jim Stout Attorney at Law, two hair stylists from the Phenix Salon at the Gateway Center – Michelle Nicholls and Nicole Suite, and April Josephson from the Animal Adoption Center. Councilmen Robinson and Voigts were also in attendance, as was City Manager Debra Rose (see photo) and Parks Commissioner Loretta Herrin.

Please support our local businesses. Lake Forest businesses provide jobs for our residents and sales tax revenue for the City.

The next Economic Development seminar will take place on January 31 at 4 pm at City Hall. The topic is “Exporting Essentials”. Click here for more information.
