OC Middle School Music Teacher Suspected Of Child Molestation
Special Victims Detectives have reached out in search of other victims following the arrest of this middle school teacher.
YORBA LINDA, CA — An Orange County middle school music teacher suspected of repeatedly molesting a teenage girl over eight years, Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.
Daniel Methe, a 44-year-old Yorba Linda resident, was arrested by officers just before 10 a.m. at his home, OCSD Carrie Braun reported. OCSD's Department Special Victims Detail Methe is suspected of committing multiple lewd acts on the teenage girl from the time she was 13- to 15-years-old, beginning in 2011.
He is currently in custody at the Orange County Jail with bail set at $100,000.

Methe is the Music Director at Yorba Linda Middle School and has been employed by the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District since 1999.
His position as a teacher has put Methe in constant access and contact with young children over the past 20 years, investigators have said. The OCSD released his photo, concerned that there may be additional victims and are asking for the public's help.
