Orange County Teenager Crushed By Fallen Tree During Storm
A teenage girl crushed by a tree during the recent storms is in critical condition according to her family.

IRVINE, CA — An Irvine area teenager was in critical condition Monday, after a large tree fell during the weekend's storm according to official reports.
The 13-year-old Irvine girl was on her way to walk the neighbors dogs at 5 p.m. on Friday when a 40-foot-tall tree in the area of Dewberry and Sandburg fell on top of her during the storm, pinning her underneath according to news reports.
Orange County Fire Authority claims the girl's injury was life threatening. Her sister, Misha, reportedly told the supporters prayers are needed and the family set up a fundraising page on YouCaring.com.

Neighbors gathered outside the Johnston home Sunday night for a prayer vigil and to support the family, according to news reports from Orange County Register.
According to the YouCaring report, Teresa suffered massive head injuries, including multiple cranial fractures and severe brain trauma. As of Monday morning, Teresa is reported by her family to be in a medically induced coma to reduce brain activity.

The neighbors have nicknamed her as the sunshine of the neighborhood, her sister said.
