I’ve been notified by several people that animals at the County shelter are being left in the wet and cold. They supplied pictures of the pets which I re-posted here. This is disgraceful and just one more reason to question the County’s commitment to adequate care for our pets.
Supervisors Bartlett and Spitzer keep telling us what a good job the shelter is doing, and Lake Forest Councilmen Voigts, Robinson and Hamilton praise the County. But the reality appears to be much worse.
Apparently both the County and the City were notified, but apparently nothing has been done to mitigate the problem.

In addition to needless suffering, many of the pets may come down with sickness and ultimately be euthanized.
