More than 100 Lake Forest Little League players received commemorative baseballs autographed by All Star third baseman Nolan Arenado on Saturday, February 8, during the unveiling ceremony for “Nolan Arenado Drive.”

Another 200 parents and friends of the Arenado family watched from the bleachers of Field 4 at the Sports Park as the City Council unveiled the blue “Nolan Arenado Drive” sign with Nolan’s number and year he graduated from El Toro High School. Nolan is an all-star third baseman in Major League Baseball.

Nolan’s mother, Millie, spoke during the ceremony about how proud the family is of Nolan and how proud they are to be Lake Forest residents. Nolan also addressed the crowd, recalling his favorite memories growing up in the City. Afterward, he signed baseballs proclaiming “Nolan Arenado Drive, City of Lake Forest, February 8, 2020,” for the Little Leaguers.
