Recall Movement Goes Into High Gear
You can find recall supporters at major City events in the next week
With slightly more than a month to go, the Recall movement is within striking distance of their goal of 8,000 verified signatures that calls for new elections to remove the Gang of 3 (Voigts, Robinson, Hamilton) due to corruption, collusion, cronyism, lack of compassion, and phony conservatism. The members of the Gang have failed to respond to these charges, instead hiring dirty politics consultants to launch racist and slanderous campaigns against Councilman Adam Nick.
Going into the final stretch, recall leader Leah Basile from Portola Hills is scheduling major events this weekend and next. On Saturday March 19 recall supporters will be outside City Hall from 9:30 to 10:30 to meet and greet residents who attend the City’s Civic Center workshop. “We have more to worry about than a new building” Mrs. Basile said. She hopes to educate residents and collect signatures.
Later that same day, recall supporters will be at the City’s Bunny Blast event in El Toro Park, from 11 am to 3 pm. “Many people ask us where they can sign up, so we are going to have a strong presence for the hundreds of people already looking to sign” said Ms. Basile.

Next weekend the recall movement will move to the Sports Park and have a strong presence at the Pet Expo. “Our goal is to educate people about what the Gang of 3 is doing” said Basile. “This is especially true of their support of the infamous high-kill Orange County shelter and their refusal to endorse a high quality low cost solution.”
“If people can’t go to any of these event s they can go to our website for more information” said Basile. (Click Here)
