Senior Resource Fair Today

Come by between 10 am and Noon at City Hall

Seniors, caregivers, and adults with parents living at home can get information on many of the health and wellness resources that are available. There will be many exhibits at which you will be able to get information on a wide array of products and services provided by the City, county, and other partnering agencies. Some of these benefits are free and/or low cost. A host of other vendors can provide helpful tips and information on their programs and how they can benfit you. Vendors will give free samples and all participants will be entered to win door prizes. Several free screenings, including thyroid, stroke, bone density, hearing tests and blood pressure checks. The City and Walgreens are partnering to offer free flu vaccinations to Medicare recipients and a minimal fee for non-recipients. Bring your Medicare/ Medical card. HMO and Kaiser members are not eligible for “free” vaccinations due to the carriers require recipients to obtain vaccinations through their offices.

The Fair starts at 10 am and runs through Noon. It's at the City Hall at 25550 CommerceCentre Dr.
