Smell Smoke In Lake Forest? Firefighters Battle Small Brush Fire
Firefighters responded to the area of Silverado Ranch Rd. and Pleasant Avenue, near the Williams Fire burn scar.

LAKE FOREST, CA — Do you see or smell smoke in Lake Forest? A "small spot fire" was reported Wednesday morning, according to Orange County Fire Authority.
One engine company worked the blaze.
"There are currently no structures homes threatened," according to OCFA Capt. Thanh Nguyen. The fire is burning in the Williams Fire burn scar, that actively burned one week ago.

Last week, five acres of dense brush caught fire near Modjeska Canyon. Firefighters battled the blaze both from the air and on the ground.
"The new fire started within the burn scar," and was likely generated from coals within that area.
