Wednesday night the City and the Chamber of Commerce co-sponsored a workshop on social media. Outback Steak House provided an excellent meal. The conference room at Cox Communications was full. Also present were Planning Commissioner Robert DeAlmeida, Parks Commissioner Loretta Herrin and Kiwanis President Stan Yombo.
The main focus of the workshop was how to produce effective advertisements using Facebook, but the speaker, from Root Marketing, also provided some notes about the social media landscape.
