Soroptimists and Friends Help "Back to School" Kids
Hundreds of kids will be better prepared for school thanks to SISV

Soroptimist International of Saddleback valley, in collaboration with many friends, charities and companies , provided South County Outreach with 195 backpacks for their “back to school” program as well as 140 flash drives for the schoolchildren. Lake Forest’s adopted 1st Law Enforcement Battalion received 45 backpacks, filled with Hello Kitty school supplies and supplies donated by the Soroptimists.
They wanted to thank all the companies and people who helped make this project possible:

Costco, who provided us with 205 backpacks,
Kiwanies, who supplied the wristbands to attach to the flash drives,

Kumon of Foothill Ranch, who supplied backpacks, school supplies and 40 flash drives,
Mary Summers, Loydele Kehler and Anne Breuer (Co-ordinator) who made generous cash donations.
Soroptimist of Saddleback Valley donated the school supplies to ensure each backpack was filled with the necessary items.
South County Outreach started last week to provide backpacks to children, and expect to hand out 1400 backpacks this year.
