Town Hall Tomorrow

In addition to our usual meeting we'll "Meet the Candidates" for City Council

Tomorrow is our quarterly Town Hall meeting at the Foothill Ranch Library from 2 pm to 4 pm. Usually we talk with anyone about anything to do with the City. This time we are in for a treat.

MEET THE CANDIDATES

Since this is the start of election season, I’ve invited all the new candidates for City Council to come by and spend time with us. This will be a very informal session, and not like the “Candidate Debates”. There will be no debates. Each candidate will get 5 minutes to talk to us about themselves, and then we’ll get 5 minutes to ask them questions. This will be particularly important for the new candidates, many of whom we don’t know at all.

Following the Candidate section, from 3:00 to 4:00 we will return to our usual “free-for-all” format. Here are some of the topics that might be raised –

  • What’s the progress on the Civic and Senior centers?
  • What’s happening about the parking problem in the City? What can we do to help?
  • What’s happening with animal care services?
  • Do we need more bedrooms in Lake Forest?
  • Do we need more stores selling wine and beer?

FOOTHILL RANCH LIBRARY is at 27002 Cabriole Way in Foothill Ranch. You go up Bake Pkwy and turn onto Rue de Fortuna and then onto Cabriole and head for the elementary school. Before the road makes a turn, go left as if you were headed into the park. At the end of the street, turn left again and you’ll see the library.
