Dramatic Three Car Collision With Injury Stalls 405 Northbound Traffic Wednesday
A SIG alert closing lanes on the 405 Northbound at the 133 closed lanes to traffic for a half-hour on Wednesday morning.

LAKE FOREST, CA — An injury accident on the 405 northbound, across from the Irvine Spectrum was cancelled as of just before 10 a.m.
The half-hour SIG alert road closure was announced at just before 9:30 a.m. for the northbound 405, just north of Irvine Center Drive and south of the 133 connector due to a three car traffic collision.
Tow trucks quickly removed vehicles, and debris was cleared from the roadway according to California Highway Patrol Officer Denise Quesada.

Three vehicles were involved in the collision which occurred just after 9 a.m. on Wednesday, according to California Highway Patrol reports: A black Honda Accord, a Toyota Corolla and a white pickup truck were involved in the crash.
"The High Occupancy Vehicle lane, and #1 and #2 lanes were blocked for approximately 30 minutes due to a traffic collision," Quesada said.

Traffic in the area was at a stand-still as of 9:30 a.m. At just before 9:15 a.m., Orange County Fire Authority Engine 51 medics arrived on scene for the injured person, according to OCFA Capt. Larry Kurtz. There was no information about the condition of the individual or the vehicle they were driving/riding in as of this report.
