Two killed in Early Morning Lake Forest Motorcycle Crash

An early morning motorcycle crash claimed the lives of two people this morning in Lake Forest.

The motorcycle was headed south on Muirlands Boulevard, approaching El Toro at 12:10 a.m. when it struck a curb. The driver and passenger were both thrown from the bike, according to Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Jarrett Kurimay.

The passenger, Caitlin McKeown, 20, of Mission Viejo, died at the scene,according to the Orange County Coroner's Office.

The driver, Oscar Ochoa, 27, of Irvine, died at a hospital.

"It was unknown whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash," Kurimay said.
