Upcoming Events

Here's what's coming up in the next 3 weeks

There are a lot of great events in the second half of April. Here are my top selections –

APRIL 17 - SELECTION OF NEW CITY MANAGER

The Council will be meeting in closed session to talk with the two final candidates for the position. We have two excellent candidates and I'm sure either one will do a great job. Because this meeting is in closed session, residents will be unable to attend.

APRIL 18 – OFFICE HOURS

I’m at City Hall every Tuesday from 4 pm to 6 pm. Come by and say hello. Please call first to be sure. Sometimes there are other things happening (e.g., there is a closed session meeting starting at 5:30 this week).

From 7 pm until who knows when, we are busy making sausage. You can see what’s on the agenda by going to the City’s website and clicking on “Agendas”.

APRIL 20 – PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION

From 7 pm until who knows when, the PRC meets. You can see what’s on the agenda by going to the City’s website and clicking on “Agendas”. I’m hoping that they begin discussing the results of the parks workshops so we can move forward with our ambitious plans to upgrade our parks.
