To create a fun and safe environment where canines and their families can run, romp, and socialize, the City is encouraging residents to take a brief survey before November 29. In addition, the information received from the survey will be taken into consideration, along with other factors such as construction timelines, funding availability, and best design practices as the City works with its architect to develop the final design of the park.

VILLAGE POND PARK

On Oct 3, 2016 the City posted bid specs for VPP and held a pre-bid meeting on Oct 25. Bids will open on November 29, 2016, two years behind schedule. A contract is expected to be awarded in early 2017 and construction is expected to begin in the Spring.
