Firefighters Extinguish Lake Forest Vegetation Fire
A vegetation was extinguished shortly after breaking out in Lake Forest Thursday afternoon.
LAKE FOREST, CA — A vegetation fire was quickly extinguished in Lake Forest Thursday afternoon, after burning a quarter of an acre at El Toro Road and Pheasant Creek.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, the city said, adding that two juveniles had been detained for questioning.
The Orange County Fire Authority had 25 firefighters at the scene — including a helicopter — who had the fire contained in 20 minutes.
