Vote for my Comrade-in-arms Colonel Greg Raths, USMC (RET)

Friends, here is my call-to-arms for a dear, long-time friend, who saved my life time and again in combat.

Colonel Greg "SNAKE" Raths, USMC (Ret) and I were crewed together during the Gulf War. Snake and I were recognized for a mission we flew together, where he basically slammed our F/A-18D straight through a barrage of anti-aircraft artillery to deliver rockets on a critical target. After one pass, our bombers left us, because the fire was too intense. Snake and I dove back again and destroyed the target, because SNAKE HAS THE HEART OF A LION.

Now, he is running for US Congress in CA-45. The election is next week, and he is in the middle of a bitter primary, where another Republican candidate is disparaging his military service. Bloggers also continue to hammer away at the colonel.

Having been in a Congressional run myself, I know what a late infusion of money can do to a campaign. It means an extra few, critical hours on TV or radio.
