We CAN Fight Cancer and We CAN Take A Bite Out of Hunger.
Relay will be collecting can goods at Relay for the Saddleback Church Food Pantry.

The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life Lake Forest, will host its 24-hour, (cancer never sleeps), overnight, free, family-friendly event. The event will be held at the Lake Forest Sports Park, 28000 Rancho Parkway, Lake Forest, CA 92610 on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10 am to Sunday, July 31 at 10 am.
Teams walk on the track at sports park. They are committed to creating awareness and raising money in the fight against cancer. At relay teams pitch tents, camp-out, eat & feast, share in games and entertainment.
Not only we committed to fighting cancer, we want to take a bite out of hunger in our community. Relay will be collecting can goods at Relay for the Saddleback Church Food Pantry (foodpantries.org).

Saddleback Church Food Pantry, 1 Purpose Dr., Lake Forest 92630 is across the street from the Sports Park. They provide food, free of charge to more than 2,500 families and individuals in need each month. Plus, the needs are growing.
The cans are put in the white luminaria bags to hold them down. For those of you who are new to Relay, a luminaria is a white-lit bag (each has a small battery operated candle placed in it) that represents a person who has fought against cancer, survived or lost the battle.

You can dedicate a luminaria for a $10 donation. Your luminaria will be placed along the track at Relay to shine a “light of hope” during the luminaria ceremony.
It’s not too late to get involved, join in the fun or just volunteer to help. Come walk a few laps and enjoy the entertainment. Don’t forget to bring your can goods. It’s a party!
