• · May 2 – Green Thumb Water Efficient Sale (8 am to 12 pm – Green Thumb)

We’re in a severe drought. Here’s your chance to learn how to save water and create a beautiful environment.

Highlighting the historic Serrano Adobe, Rancho Days Fiesta explores life in California in the mid-1800s. Experience the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of the past through music, dance, crafts and food.

This is a great place to shop for Mother’s Day present. The Garden Club has great bargains on a wide variety of plants.

The Chamber of Commerce promotes businesses in the City. Come by and promote your business and learn what others are doing.

Lake Forest has its own community theatre now. The last show (“39 Steps”) was terrific. Come by and support your community theatre.

• · May 16 – Aliso Creek Cleanup Day (9 to :11:30 am)

Join other Lake Forest residents, community groups and City staff in removing litter from a portion of the Aliso Creek. We’ll supply the gloves, trash bags, volunteer shirt, snacks and beverages. You supply the energy! Meet at Cherry Avenue and Fernbank Street (south-west of Cherry Park). Park on Cherry.

The Boys and Girls Club is an important amenity for the City. Please attend their annual fund raiser.

Most of the events are FREE but some may charge admission. The ones in bold are the ones I hope to attend. Come by and say hello.
