Women Entrepreneurs Forum Inspires
More than 70 people attend valuable 3 hour event
On Friday March 17 more than 70 people showed up to the City's "Women Entrepreneurs Forum", co-sponsored by SCORE. Almost all the people in the audience were women, and about half were from Lake Forest. Mustard Cafe provided a great breakfast.
The keynote address was from Ellen Callen, a sales and marketing professional who walked people through the process and the pitfalls of being an entrepreneur. Callen herself recently embarked on her own project and she shared some lessons from that work. It was an excellent presentation and of value to men or women entrepreneurs.
Following Ms. Cullen there was a panel discussion with three women entrepreneurs in Like Forest - Mary Visconte (Spectrum Specialties), Nikita Ganatra (Kumon of Foothill Ranch), and Kristen White (TH2 Technologies). Once again, valuable information was imparted to the audience.
