Adeline Buckelew—Longtime La Mesa Resident—Dies at 97

Adeline Buckelew died July 11, according to a U-T San Diego obituary.

She was 97.

She moved to La Mesa with her husband in 1941. She volunteered at Grossmont Hospital and also worked at the U.S. Immigration Service, according to the newspaper.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Aug. 18 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, according to the newspaper.
