Today we were assigned to city Hall where a 211 post has been setup. We were told to report back there for the duration as a permanate assignement. We both are happy about that because it is nice and cool there. Also the people there are so nice and we are learning so much about how the Government works in situations like this. This is so well coordinated.
We were told that most of the people there at City Hall have had only had one day off since the tornado happened a month ago. We recieved calls from all over the US wanting to come help, the AMERICAN spirit is a live and well.
Tonight is a City Council meeting where lots of decisions will be made about how to cope. They have waived all fees but there is much paper work to be filed for FEMA. As we have found out from our own experience with the fires most people are under insured. Some have none and that is where FEMA steps in.

There are still people unaccounted for, today I personally took a call from a lady in Idaho looking for her cousin, she had last spoken with her the week prior to the tornado. We found the lady had lived in the devastated area, her name wasn't on the list of those that pershied, so we referred her to the police to file a missing person report. The total is now at 159. That is the difference in fires and tornados, most people have time to escape the fire.
It is very windy here, the weather report for tomorrow is severe rain storms.
