Brush Fire Breaks Out on 125 North Near La Mesa
The blaze broke out near Spring Street and Lemon Avenue, according to Heartland Fire and Rescue.
La Mesa, CA — Firefighters were on scene of a brush fire on State Route 125 Tuesday afternoon.
The blaze broke out on 125 North between Spring Street and Lemon Avenue, Heartland Fire reported at about 1:20 p.m. via Twitter.
Crews from Cal Fire San Diego and San Diego Fire-Rescue Department were helping Heartland battle the blaze.

The fire prompted California Highway Patrol to issue a traffic alert for northbound 125.
