Del Cerro Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint: Police

The alleged hold-up was reported late Sunday, San Diego police said.

SAN DIEGO, CA: A gas station in the Del Cerro neighborhood was robbed at gunpoint, San Diego police said Monday.

The suspect pulled a gun and demanded cash at the Chevron at the corner of Del Cerro Boulevard and College Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros. He ran off with an undisclosed amount.

Police described the suspect as Hispanic, 5 feet 6 and 250 pounds with "heavy acne on his face." He was wearing a beanie, a gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
